Amazed at how He used a fearful young man, a faithful woman and His powerful Word to build something I could never have imagined. I'm truly humbled. Our story began when Scripture gave our Founder, Kenny, the courage to face his fears. He later engraved Scripture on dog tags in order to carry God's Word close to him. The dog tags provided a reason for Kenny to share his testimony and pass on the gift of God's Word. It wasn’t long before Kenny realized that other people needed Scripture as much as he did, and that’s when he decided to create Shields of Strength.
